Where should I stay?

For those travelling from afar, we recommend booking accommodation in Tagaytay which is 15-20 minutes away from our wedding venue in Batangas. In addition to Airbnb, here are a few options:

How long should I stay in Tagaytay/Batangas?

For the full experience, including pre-wedding gatherings, we encourage our guests to book a two night stay in Tagaytay from 21 to 23 January 2026.

How do I get from Manila to Tagaytay/Batangas?

The wedding venue is approximately a 2 hours’ drive from Manila (depending on traffic). We will provide group transport options on key dates (being 21-23 January 2026) to make the journey easier. We will arrange transportation from Manila to Tagaytay on 21 January 2026 and from Tagaytay to Manila on 23 January 2026. You will be advised of the pick-up time and location once we receive your RSVP and flight details.

If you arrive in Manila before 21 January 2026, please download the Grab app (similar to Uber) which you can use to travel around Manila. Please note that Grab does not operate in these areas and, as such, we will also provide transportation for travelling guests to and from the wedding venue on 22 January 2026.

On the Day

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive by 3:00pm to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins.

Is transportation provided on the wedding day?

Yes, we will provide shuttles from allocated locations in Tagaytay to the venue. Once RSVPs are received, transportation will be organised and guests will be notified of their pick-up details.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, and we recommend that you bring insect repellent to stay comfortable.

Is there a chance the venue will change?

Due to the nature of the location near an active volcano, there is a small possibility of last-minute changes. While we don’t anticipate any disruptions, rest assured that the wedding will still be in the Philippines. We’ll keep you updated with any necessary adjustments and appreciate your flexibility.

What’s the weather like in Tagaytay in January?

January is typically cool and pleasant (18–25°C). We recommend bringing a light jacket for evenings.

Practical Information

Do I need local currency?

Yes, we encourage you to carry some Philippine peso for small shops, tips, or emergencies. However, on most occasions you will be able to use your bank cards while in the Philippines.

Should I rent a car?

No need — transport will be provided for wedding events, and taxis/rideshare are easy to arrange in Manila.

Is there Wi-Fi at the venue?

Yes, the wedding venue has Wi-Fi. You may notice weaker coverage in the surrounding areas, so we recommend connecting to Wi-Fi where available.
